Deep freezer model names are marketing, not measurements. The Rockwell 910 GREEN holds 750 litres; the Haier HFC-588M5 holds 524. Amazon's capacity figures also disagree with the manufacturers': Rockwell's own site puts the 550 GREEN at 491 L where Amazon says 523 L, the 350 GREEN at 294 L where Amazon says 280 L, and the 250 GREEN at 194 L where Amazon says 209 L. Then there is the gross-versus-usable gap, which is where the real money hides — the Haier HFC-500DPW5 is 500 L gross but 439 L of storage, and the Godrej 530D is 505 L gross but roughly 405 L usable. Buy on the usable figure from the brand's own site where it exists, and treat every other number as a claim.

A five-star rating from 2024 is not a five-star rating from 2026
